How To Identify The Quality Of The Toughened Glass?
Feb 07, 2018

The Toughened glass is used to cut the ordinary annealed glass into a required size, then heated to a close softening point, and then get a quick and uniform cooling. After the toughening treatment, the uniform compressive stress is formed on the surface of the glass, while the tensile stress is formed inside the glass. The performance of the glass is greatly improved, the tensile strength is more than 3 times that of the latter, and the impact resistance is more than 5 times that of the latter.

It is also this characteristic that the stress characteristics become an important sign to distinguish true and false toughened glass, that is, Toughened glass can see the color stripe through the edge of the glass with polarized light, while in the surface of glass, we can see black and white spots. Polarized light can be found in the camera lens or in the glasses. It is easier to observe the light source when observed.

There is a 3C certification mark on each toughened glass.
